Latest News & Information

Well, 2010 is well and truly underway and after a very relaxing holiday at Goolwa, my husband, David and myself are now ready to get stuck into the year. As promised, I have posted some of the many photos I took on the Flerieu Peninsula. There is just so much to see and do down that way - we still have many places to go to next time we go. We spent a day touring through the rugged rolling countryside of Cape Jervis, Rapid Bay, Second Valley, up to Normanville and Yankalilla. We went on a picture perfect day when the coastline was just stunning. Another day friends of ours took us in their boat from Goolwa up to the mouth of the Murray River where it meets the sea and further into the Coorong. I would have to say that our coastline in South Australia, is some of the best coastline in Australia. Now I haven't been to Queensland, but I would say SA would be on par for beautiful white, sandy beaches (just perhaps minus the palm trees!) We were even lucky enough to catch a few fish for tea! Hope you enjoy the photos.
